Good to know

Do I really not need a whole story?

Really. One sentence is enough, like “she fed the ducks and one chased her.” We write the beginning, middle and end, and you can change any of it.

Is my child's photo safe?

In the free preview, your photo is used only to paint those two pages and is deleted automatically. In your account, photos stay private to you and are used only to paint your book. Neither is ever used to train AI.

Can I change the words and pictures?

Yes. Change any line, redo any picture with a short note like “make her laugh” or a new photo, and add or remove pages. Every version is saved, so you can always go back.

What if it doesn't look like my child?

Redo the picture with a clearer photo or a short note (“curlier hair, no glasses”). Storytruly remembers the fix for the rest of the book.

Can I make it in another language?

Yes: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese or Dutch. You can tell the story in one language and get the book in another.

Are the pictures made with AI?

Yes. The pictures are painted with AI from your words and photos, in the art style you pick, and you can redo any of them. You look at every page before anything is printed.

Is it a real printed book?

Yes. It is printed in full color as an 11 by 8.5 inch landscape book, hardcover or softcover. You check a page-by-page proof first, and the team gives it a last look before it is printed.

How much does it cost?

The two-page preview is free and needs no sign-up. The price of the printed book is shown in the app before you order, so there is no surprise at the end.
